Lasiodiplodia Fruit Rot / Diplodia Stem-End Rot causes watersoaking, seen at the stem end

Causal Agent: (fungus ‑ Lasiodiplodia theobromae)

Watersoaking is seen at the stem end and the tissue is soft (Image 1). When harvesting, a large portion of the peduncle should remain attached to the fruit. The disease is of minor importance.
