Symptoms:
Deterioration of nearly all of fruit that begins with water soaked lesion, later developing “mossy” appearance due to secondary infections by white and gray molds.

Control:
Management practices that minimize soil contact by the fruit (i.e., plastic mulch) and elimination of standing water in rows aid in control.
