This will be the fourth time for Texas to host the International Spinach Conference. This conference began as a partnership with the University of Arkansas and Texas A&M University, but has grown to include the spinach industry of the world. Growers, shippers, researchers, spinach breeders, Extension personnel, seed handlers, etc. all come to learn what the latest developments in the industry are. This years event will feature an all day educational meeting with invited papers on 29 November in downtown San Antonio with lunch featuring Texas grown spinach. On Friday 30 November we will tour the rich spinach growing area of the Texas Winter Garden along with numerous research plots and trials. The tour will conclude with a good ole South Texas pachanga!!
