Scientific name: Ficus benjamina exotica

Description: Small, graceful tree with a weeping habit. Leaves are 2-4 inches long, slightly undulate and apple green when young, but darker with age. The many short, twiglike branches and leafstalks have a stringy bark, which peels off.

Light: Medium light or some daily sun

Temperature: Warm room temperatures

Methods of propagation: Air layering possible

Comment: An elegant plant for indoor and outdoor living areas. Plants often drop leaves while becoming acclimated to a new environment.
