Scientific name: Chamaedorea erumpens
Description: Tall-growing plant ( up to 8 feet) formed from a clump of stems that are smooth, green, slender, and sectional. The 18- to 20-inch long, slightly arching, deep green leaves are held on upright 6- to 10-inch long leafstalks. The leaves, made of 8- to 10-inch long leaflets, tend to cluster on the stems, leaving whole sections bare.

Comment: This palm does well in interior living areas and can survive in fairly low light. Plants are sensitive to poor water quality.
