Scientific name: Kalanchoe sp.

Description: Bushy plants often 12 to 15 inches tall with thick, fleshy leaves. The 1- to 1 1/2-inch dark-green leaves are often edged with red and are somewhat circular. Small red, yellow or orange flowers are arranged in dense clusters on long stalks.

Temperature: Normal room temperature

Methods of propagation: Tip cuttings in the spring

Comment: Excellent plants for the interior environment, lasting for up to 6-8 weeks before flowers begin to fade. Easily propagated and make a nice foliage plant.
