Developed by Antoine Mari in Nice, France in 1901, this beautiful pink tea rose blooms repeatedly from spring until fall. It is a truly outstanding landscape rose. Named “Earth-Kind® Rose of the Year” for 2008 by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service.
Landscape Uses
Madame Antoine Mari is another outstanding tea rose that works well in a number of landscape situations. Used as a specimen plant, the flowering characteristics of this cultivar can dominate a planting area. Used in clusters, Madame Antoine Mari can provide a colorful backdrop for companion plantings. This cultivar requires full sun for optimum growth and flowering.
