Optimizing Wine Quality During Challenging Vintages in Texas

Description: How does a winemaker optimize wine quality during disease-heavy vintage years? When grapes experience sunburn, how can the winemaker address the must or juice to create a quality wine? Really, what can a winemaker do when the fruit arrives at the crush pad in less-than-ideal conditions?

That is what we’ll reveal during the webinar “Optimizing Wine Quality during Challenging Vintages in Texas.” Using vintage challenges specific to the various regions in Texas, we’ll review harvest and later stage processing techniques that provide the most impactful results towards wine quality. A vintage doesn’t have to be lost to extreme weather events, insect pressure, or losses of yield. Winemakers have tools available to them to make the most out of these challenging situations… and we will show you how!
