Description
Perennial, deep tap-rooted herbaceous plant of the sunflower family growing 4 to 16 inches tall. Small yellow flowers with prominant ray flowers. Leaves narrow, linear and mostly basal. Flowers appeare June through October.
Habitat
Sandy soils through the central region of Texas.
