Pineapple Cheese Ball
(Lampasas County)

16 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 1/2-ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
2 cups chopped pecans
1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
1 tablespoon seasoned salt

Beat the cheese until very soft. Add the remaining ingredients except one cup of pecans. Shape into ball. Roll in the pecans. Refrigerate.
