I'm Jerry Parsons, and being an old Tennessee boy it's kind of hard to buy one of those expensive saunas. So what do is make my own in my backyard. You can do that to with this plastic. You roll it out and get under there and you're going to get hot in a hurry and lose all the weight you want to.

This plastic, when spread over beds that you've prepared this time of the year, will get over 150-160 degrees and kill every insect and disease in this bed. Now of course you have to throw the beds up at this time of the year and that's good exercise too. You have to use a shovel and that's not easy, and you see you've got to get all the help you can to do that. So you throw the beds up, tuck this clear plastic up, and it will get extremely hot under there and kill everything.

Then if you really want to make sure you've got them before you put the plastic on put Vapam (no longer available) under there and it will kill nematodes even better. Be sure that you put a drip irrigation tube under here because when we plant in here in the middle of August we want to be sure to effectively use the water that we have. Then we'll have to spray paint this plastic white to make sure that we cool it down before we plant in August.

This year is a wonderful time and place to have a sauna and a wonderful way to clean up your garden this time of the year. We might as well use that free hot sun that we've got.
