The Wood County Master Gardener Association is a group of trained volunteers who are home gardeners just like you with experience in small flower beds and large vegetable gardens. We're working to improve horticulture knowledge in our part of East Texas. Our interests range from native plants to roses, from organic gardening to responsible use of garden chemicals, from tomatoes to trees. We're involved in projects ranging from pure horticultural research to community education. Our projects involve all ages. We want the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids to be just as enthusiastic about gardening as we are. We are a part of the Texas AgriLIFE Extension Master Gardeners Program .
