Transplanted: May 16, 2003
Harvested (once over): August 4, 2003
Fertilization: 50 lbs/ A N-preplant + 30 lbs N twice through the drip system
 Irrigation: As needed
Study Comments: Severe wind problems caused plant injury early in the establishment of this trial. Unusually cold weather also resulted in a split fruit set.

Transplanted: April 22, 2003
Harvested (once over): July 14, 2003
Plant Spacing: 8′ wide beds with 2.5′ in-row plant spacing
Irrigation: Irrigated each time the ornamental project irrigated their plots (lack of personnel in the Overton Vegetable Project due to retirements and position cuts resulted in the need for assistance from other projects)
Weed Control: Roundup at vining
Study Comments: Extremely poor quality fruit across all varieties. Partially due to excess rainfall and unusual cool conditions. However, is speculated that excessive irrigation played a significant role in this occurrence. Considerable hollow heart and rind necrosis evident.

Study Comments: No data was obtained from this location due to accidental destruction of the transplants prior to going to the field.
