DEGREE PROGRAMS

The two curricula offered in the department are floriculture and horticulture. Most students enrolled in floriculture are in retail floristry although a student with an interest in any area of ornamental horticulture could choose floriculture as their major or as a double major with horticulture. Students in the horticulture curriculum include those who are planning careers in such areas as crop production, horticultural business management, teaching, horticultural therapy, extension and research.
