1. Talk with undergraduate coordinator in major to which you would like to transfer to besure that it is the major that you want and to learn what credits can be used in your new major and what requirements might exist.
2. Go to the Dean's Office of the college in which you want to enroll and complete a change of major form.
3. Go to the Dean's Office of the major from which you are transferring and obtain his/her signature on the change of major form.
Students with a GPR of 2.0 or above may initiate a change of major through the end of preregistration. Students on probation (GPR<2.0) can initiate a change of major until the first day of preregistration. In both cases, changes of major may again be made five days after final grades are available.
If your grade point average is below a 2.0, you will need to obtain a letter from the undergraduate coordinator of your new major stating your probation terms and the courses that you will take in your first semester in your new major.
Changing your major from floriculture to horticulture or horticulture to floriculture must be done by completing the same change of major form mentioned above in the COALS Dean's Office.
