SOCIAL SCIENCE

This is a part of the University Core Curriculum. The department requires that each student have a course in economics, ECON 202, 203, or AGEC 105, and the remaining three hours can be chosen from any course that is approved for the University Core Curriculum. These include certain courses from such areas as AGEC, AGED, ANTH, ECON, EDCI, EPSY, GEOG, JOUR, POLS, PSYC, SCOM, and SOCI. Consult the TAMU catalog of the year you entered TAMU or a more recent year for a list of approved courses. Courses transferred in by title may be accepted for use in this category if they have been approved by the dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
