SCIENCE

All courses in the science block are required. These courses also meet the University Core Curriculum requirement in science. Substitutions are occasionally made in this block. The substitutions that have been made in the past are BIOL 113 & 123 for BOTN 101, CHEM 103 & 113 for CHEM 101 & 111, and CHEM 227 & 237 for CHEM 222. Courses that are transferred in by title as Life Science, Organic Chemistry, or Genetics must be evaluated by the undergraduate coordinator to determine if they could be substituted for BOTN 101, CHEM 222, and GENE 301, respectively. CHEM 106 & 116 are not acceptable substitutes for CHEM 101 & 111.
