TOTAL HOURS REQUIRED

Both the floriculture and horticulture degree plans require a minimum of 132 credit hours for graduation. More credit hours may be taken but no more than 137 to 138 should be listed on the degree plan. Students often choose to take more credit hours of coursework than those required for graduation. Currently, the requirements for a second major are a minimum of 12 hours, though this depends on the college, and the requirements for a second undergraduate degree are a minimum of 30 hours beyond the first degree.
