Each student is to work in conjunction with his/her faculty advisor to develop a degree plan. The degree plan is to be submitted to the undergraduate coordinator before preregistration in the second semester of the sophomore year or, in the case of transfer students with more than 45 hours, before the end of the first semester of enrollment in the department. Once a degree plan has been filed it is possible to make changes to it if both the student and the faculty advisor agree to the changes. (See section on course substitutions below.) If, however, the faculty of the Horticulture Department make changes to the two curricula, these changes cannot be required of students who have a signed degree plan on file. (A signed degree plan is one that has been signed by the student, faculty advisor and undergraduate coordinator.)
