John Harrod will receive his B.S. in Horticulture from Texas A&M University in 2000. He hopefully will receive his M.S. in Public Garden Administration from the University of Delaware in 2003. Mr Harrod is a Member of the Floriculture-Horticulture Club, Texas Aggie Swing Cats, etc. and has served in many elected positions. He became a member of the human race June 1978.

Mr. Harrod's area of research is in urban horticulture, specifically public gardens.
