Zinc deficiency 1

Zinc deficiency

Zinc deficiency is seen in citrus as interveinal chlorosis, similar to iron deficiency. The midrib and other veins are green and the other areas of the leaf are yellow, but the leaves are smaller than the other leaves and the yellow/green contrast is striking.

Zinc deficiency 3

Zinc deficiency

Zinc deficiency in citrus is characterized by smaller, more pointed leaves with a contrasting yellow/green interveinal mottling. By comparing with iron chlorosis, the grower will soon be able to distinguish between these two symptoms.
