INTRODUCTION:

There are many ways to garden. In the US non-organic gardening is more common than organic gardening, but the latter continues to increase in popularity.

OBJECTIVES:

The objectives of this outline are to compare row and bed systems of garden cultivation and to compare organic and non-organic systems of garden management.

ACTIVITY:
  • Observe the three types of vegetable gardens, row garden, French intensive garden and square foot garden, that are being that are a part of the Holistic Garden. Compare intensity of management and yield.
  • Compare the organic and non-organic management systems used in lab.
