Sentinel
Released in 1966 by the USDA breeding
program in Georgia. Sentinel has been popular in parts of
the southeastern U.S. but problems with firmness, color, and high
fuzz has led to a decrease in plantings. It is being
replaced by Juneprince
and Flavorcrest.
