Majestic
Released by LSU in 1979. Majestic is a
consistent producer of large-sized fruit for the July 4th season.
Production of Majestic is increasing in the high chill zone of
the southeast and is a good alternative to Redglobe. Fruit quality
is usually good but cropping, firmness, and shape are marginal
after a mild winter. Ground color is somewhat green some
years. Fruit below were grown in Zone 4.
