Loring
Released out of Missouri in 1946.
Loring has been a standard variety in the southeastern U.S.
for many years. The variety does not usually set heavily,
but the fruit are large and of fair-to good quality. Fruit
shape and color are marginal in many areas, and ground color is
somewhat green. Many strains (and pretenders) exist, so
evaluation information varies widely from one area to another.
Fruit below were grown in Zone 4.
Chill Req.: 800

Texas). Zones 1-3.
