Juneprince


Released by the USDA breeding program in Byron, GA.  Juneprince is gaining popularity in the southeastern U.S. because of its high fruit quality, attractiveness, and flavor.   Cropping, size, firmness, and flavor are very good, and the fruit has a bright yellow ground color.  Juneprince can become elongated and tippy after a mild winter and will set poorly below zone 5.

    Chill Req.:  650 C.U.,  Ripe: -40 D.B.E. ( about 6/05 in Central Texas).  Zones: 3-4
