Dixiland
Released by the USDA breeding program in
Byron, GA in 1962. Dixiland has been a standard in the
southeastern U.S. but is being planted less because of problems
with color and shape. Growers have been replacing it with Cresthaven in some areas.
Fruit below were grown in Zone 4.
