A Little About Me...
For the past 12 years I have been working for Dr. David H. Byrne in both the Basye Rose Breeding and Genetics Program and the Peach Breading Program here at Texas A&M University.   Currently I am working to obtain a Masters in Horticulture.
I live in a wonderful city just north of Bryan/College Station called Calvert.   A mear 35 minute drive North of B/CS will take you to Calvert which is touted as having the 3rd largest historic district in Texas.   If you're interested in taking a virtual driving tour, then check out this site.   The Calvert Chamber of Commerce hosts many activites and festivals throughout the year.   In November they sponser a Victorian Charity Ball.   All the funds raised for this wonderful event benefit local charities.   During this event a costume contest is held, and in 2003 I won the costume contest!   Here is my picture for the 2005 Victorian Ball.
