The majority of my life has been spent in Fort Worth, Texas...a city with a colorful past and rich heritage. I graduated from Nolan Catholic High School and subsequently attended The University of Texas At Arlington where I graduated with a B.S. in Biology, cum laude. At present, I am working toward a Masters of Science in Hoticulture through the Department Of Horthcultural Sciences and the rose breeding and genetics program. My research interests include developing genetic markers for roses and breeding with Brownell roses. I am also interested in Botany and enjoyed being a teaching assistant for Botany 620 in spring 2004. Roses are amazing plants....I have been growing them since age 13. Learning
about them has been a wonderful ongoing process. Check out my rose page. |
