Vertical and shrublike, Aruncus is a relative of Spirea and Filipendula, but it is dioecious. Compound pinnate or bipinnate, glabrous leaves branch out below fuzzy, multi-flowered white panicles of inflorescences.

Additional Comments: Reported to like partial shade, but our plants did very nicely in full sun. Male plants have more showy panicles. An easy-to-grow, trouble-free plant. Try planting with Aconitum, Digitalis, or Campanula.
