Compound pinnate or bipinnate, glabrous leaves branch out below fuzzy, multi-flowered white panicles of inflorescences. Plant Type: perennial Plant Form or Habit: upright/vertical Plant Use: In any garden, in any site, near water, dry woodlands. Good for cut flowers, too.
Width: Minimum: 24 inches Maximum: 84 inches Foliage Texture: medium USDA Hardiness Zone: 4 Water Requirements: average Additional Comments: Reported to like partial shade, but our plants did very nicely in full sun. Male plants have more showy panicles. An easy-to-grow, trouble-free plant. Try planting with Aconitum, Digitalis, or Campanula.
