Upcoming Landscape Design Study Course I, 2008

The next Landscape Design Study Course will be held February 18-19, 2008, in College Station, TX. This is the beginning of a new series. Course I will contain the following topics: Space, Design and People; Principles and Elements of Landscape Design; Planning Your Home Grounds; Basics of a Site Plan; The Private Garden; Design for the Environment; Public Landscapes; Development of Landscape Design; Landscape Design Resources. Our special interest lecturer is Dr. Barron Rector, a Rangeland Ecologist and Management Specialist with Texas A&M University. His topic will be “Native Grasses on the Texas Rural and Urban Landscapes”.
