Garden Humor

From: Trade Secrets, by Jessie Gunn Stephens

"Annual" in gardening means it will last less than a year even though it should mean something that happens every year.

"Perennial" should not be confused with "eternal." This term is loosely applied to mean uncertain promise.

"Full Sun" and "Drought Tolerant" are two terms coined by nursery professionals that think 90 degrees F is a heat wave and two weeks without rain is a drought, obviously they have never lived in Texas.
