Sara is currently pursuing a Master of Agriculture at Texas A&M University in the Department of Horticultural Sciences. In the summer of 1996, she worked as a horticulture therapy intern at Casa Calina, a private facility offering therapy for individuals recovering from head injuries.
Sara is a member of the American Horticultural Therapy Association, Pi Alpha Xi, and the Horticulture Graduate Council. Her interests include cooking, gardening, and cartoons.
