The Holistic Teaching Garden is an organic garden. There is a lot of plant material discarded every season and learning the importance of composting is an invaluable lesson for all who participate in the garden. The compost facility is used to recycle plant material, to teach composting and to produce a valuable, rich compost for use in all of the garden areas. All who participate in the garden are involved in the compost facility and it is, appropriately, located near the center of the garden.
