Applicants should check the current Graduate Catalog for the latest information on tuition and fees, because these are subject to change. To be considered full-time, graduate students must register for 9 credit hours each during fall and spring semester, 6 hours during the 10-week summer semester or 3 credit hours during each of the two 5-week summer terms. To help cover costs of graduate study, state-supported research, teaching and extension assistantships are available. These assistantships offer competitive salaries. In addition, students may apply for grant-funded research assistantships, University fellowships and hourly wage jobs within the department. A student employed on an assistantship or fellowship is eligible for resident tuition. |
