The Master Gardener Program is a volunteer development program offered by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and is designed to increase the availability of horticultural information and improve the quality of life through horticultural projects in Galveston County.

The 2014 Master Gardener Course will be held beginning on Tuesday, February 11 and on each Tuesday and Thursday thereafter through April 8, 2014. Classes are conducted, generally, from 1 to 5 p.m. However, there will be two classes that will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  as well as a field trip held one Wednesday morning. Please be sure to read through the tentative schedule and updated Q&A posted below.

Applications for the 2014 Master Gardener Course are now available at the County AgriLife Extension Office, located inside Carbide Park at 4102-B Main Street (FM 519) in La Marque. You are welcome to come by the office to pick up a packet, or if you wish to have one mailed to you, please email GALV3@wt.net, or call 281-534-3413 x12. Also, you may download and print the documents from the links below. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 with interviews being conducted one day during the week of January 20-24, 2014.
