The Master Gardener Program is a volunteer development program offered by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and is designed to increase the availability of horticultural information and improve the quality of life through horticultural projects in Galveston County.

The 2015 Master Gardener Course will be held beginning Thursday, February 12 and on each Tuesday and Thursday thereafter with the last class being held on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Classes are conducted, generally, from 1 to 5 p.m. However, there will be two classes in 2015 that will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well as a Wednesday morning field trip to Mercer Arboretum. Please be sure to read through the tentative schedule and updated Q&A posted below.

Information packets, including the application for the 2015 Master Gardener Course, are currently available at the Extension Office. Applications are due by Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Feel free to come by the office to pick up a packet, or email to have one mailed to you, or download the information from the links below and mail or bring it to the office.
