Master Gardeners Herman Auer and Robert Marshall will give a hands-on demonstration of how to prune your peach trees and other stone fruit trees to create a good scaffold and to prepare for next year's fruit production.
This program will be held in the Demonstration Garden/Orchard inside Carbide Park.

1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Galveston County Master Gardener Loretta Osteen will give a presentation that will include information about the history of the Plumeria and tips for growing and caring for them. Also included will be information about the different flower shapes, fragrances and colors of the different varieties of Plumeria successfully grown in our area. Methods of propagation, proper winter storage and care will be presented, as will ways to use the flowers.
