Growing Hanging Baskets: Vegetative Annual Hanging Baskets

Vegetatively-propagated materials make planting and growing hanging baskets quick and relatively easy. New vegetative annual plants grown in hanging baskets are selling well in the market place. During recent bedding plant seasons, growers experienced sales of baskets and container gardens lasting well into summer. Many of the new vegetative annual plants on the market have growth habits suitable for growing alone in monoculture baskets. Others are more appropriate to mix with other plants into one hanging basket.
