Introduction Performance Results |
Texas A&M University Container Trial Program Our testing program consists of a two site randomized and replicated trial. Locations include on campus at Texas A&M University in College Station, and the Texas AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Overton. Companies may choose to submit entries during two separate seasons (spring and/or fall). The primary goal is identifying the very best of recently introduced seed annual, vegetative annual, herbaceous perennial and woody perennial plants suitable for container culture that can be recommended for southern U.S. landscapes. Entries deemed worthy by their performance in these evaluations would lead to designation as a seasonal container garden plant to be incorporated into mixed planting recipes/planting designs for mass production. |
