The Entry Process

If you are interested in entering plants in our container trials or have any questions, please contact either: Dr. Terri W. Starman at Texas A&M University at College Station (phone 979-862-2910, e-mail: tstarman@tamu.edu); Kristen Eixmann at College Station (phone 979-862-1448, e-mail: keixmann@tamu.edu); or Dr. Brent Pemberton at the Texas AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Overton(phone: 903-834-6191, email: b-pemberton@tamu.edu).

For each cultivar that you wish to enter, we will need the following:
- A description of the cultivar (e.g. mature height and width, blossom characteristics, etc.)
- 20 rooted liners or seed plugs or seeds of that cultivar shipped to each location
- A check for $40 made out to the Texas AgriLife Research sent to Terri Starman to be distributed to each location

For participation in spring trials, rooted liners and seed plugs need to be shipped week 11.  For participation in fall trials, all varieties need to be shipped Week 36. Seeds need to be shipped week 1 for spring trials and week 26 for fall trials. Shipping addresses for the two locations are as follows:
