FHS is a member of the Association of Collegiate Branches (ACB) of the American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS). Membership is open to anyone with an interest in any aspect of horticulture. The society also participates in a variety of social and educational activities, such as field trips to places of horticultural interest, guest lectures, and social events, such as an annual Halloween Party, White Elephant Holiday Gift Exchange, and Spring Fling. Look for pictures taken at these events and more in the FHS virtual photo album. FHS also participates in the Undergraduate Horticultural Judging Competitions at the ASHS Southern Region and National meetings. Be sure not to miss Fall and Spring Plant Fair, our main fundraisers, as these are the largest and most exciting events hosted by FHS annually.

General meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month and business meetings on the first Wednesday of each month. All meetings start at 7:00 p.m. in Room 102 of the Horticulture-Forestry Science Building (HFSB).
