Message from Texas Plant Protection Association President, Doug Jost:
On Behalf of the Texas Plant Protection Association, I would like
to invite you to attend the 17th annual Texas Plant Protection Conference.
This year’s conference theme is “Target Agriculture”,
and will feature introductory comments from Dr. Elsa Murano, Vice
Chancellor of Texas A&M University, along with general session
topics that include Agriculture Bio-terrorism, Future Technologies
in Agriculture, Texas Transportation Corridor, and Farm Policies.
The concurrent sessions will provide information on the latest research
and trends on topics such as emerging technology and new chemistries,
all major Texas crops, horticulture/turf, and pasture/rangeland. Additional
general sessions will include a special section on Precision Agriculture,
as well as TDA Laws and Regulations and a Poster session. Many of
our sponsors will have displays that will offer additional information
on their products and services for production agriculture. This is
also a great opportunity to obtain CCA and TDA CEU hours.
Please join us in making the Texas Plant Protection conference a
success again in 2005. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Douglas J. Jost
