Precision Ag Expo News
Scheduled for June 7th in Corpus Christi, Texas

Farmers, extension agents, agribusiness representatives, crop consultants and others involved in crop production are invited to attend Precision Ag Expo sponsored by the Texas Plant Protection Association (TPPA). This daylong expo will be at the Texas A&M University Research and Extension Center in Corpus Christi.
At the Expo farmers and those that work with farmers will learn the latest information on how precision ag technology can increase their profits and/or decrease their risk. Farmers will have the opportunity to talk with the experts as well as leading farmers that are using precision ag in their operations. The expo will include an opportunity to observe precision ag equipment in the field. The expo begins at 8:30 a.m. on June 7 and will conclude around 4:00p.m. Lunch is included in the registration fee.

South Texas Cotton and Grain Association, Lower Rio Grande Valley Cotton & Grain Association, Texas Agriculture – Publication of the Texas Farm Bureau, Texas Cooperative Extension, Texas Agricultural Experiment Station and Texas A&M University - Kingsville.

Certified Crop Advisers: 6.0 ceu’s

Registration: $45 before May 5 or $55after May 5 or on-site.

Hotel Information:
All precision Ag Expo activities will be held at the Texas A&M University Research and Extension Center in Corpus Christi. The Holiday Inn Airport, which is near the Center, has a limited number of rooms available at a special rate for those attending the expo. To reserve your room at this Holiday Inn, call the hotel at 361/289-5100 and ask for the “Precision Ag Expo” rate of $79.00. The reservation code is 2-PAE. Room reservations are based on availability. Since June is a busy month, they suggest you make your room reservation early
