n February 1, 2003, Dr. Tim Davis assumed his duties as Head of the Department of Horticultural Sciences at Texas A&M University.

Tim is no stranger to Texas horticulture, having served as project leader for ornamental research at the El Paso Center, and more recently, as Resident Director of the TAMU AREC at Dallas.

Tim will maintain his position as Resident Director of the Dallas Center while serving as Department Head.

We welcome Tim to the Department, and wish him well in these difficult financial times.
