World Scientists' Warning to Humanity

This is the statement issued in 1993 by 1680 scientists from 49 countries. Of these 1680 scientists, 104 were Nobel prize winners. Publication of the original statement was organized by the Union of Concerned Scientists in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

What is the Relationship Horticulture Educators have with Plants?

Environmental educators know the first step in developing an environmental ethic is acknowledging our relationship with nature. If educators have an ethical relationship with nature, would that not inform their teaching? In the "Ecological Age," environmental education is an interdisciplinary effort.
