GARDEN PLANNING WEB SITE

GARDEN PLANNING WEB SITE

Do you have a question about horticulture?

Texas has one of the largest sources of horticulture information in the country. I must warn you, however, that if you are an avid gardener, this site can take up a lot of your time. The amount of information available here is amazing, and you just keep finding things to read.

Whether your question is about lawn care, flower gardening, vegetable gardening, landscaping, plants, vines, wildflowers, trees, or even wine grapes, you can probably find an answer at the Texas A&M University Horticulture Department's website, http://aggiehorticulture.tamu.edu. This website is one of the world's most visited horticulture websites with over 21 million hits and over 1 million unique visits in May of this year.

Once you log on to the site, you will find over 30 specific topics to choose from as you begin your search. These links will lead you to many more pages containing an unbelievable amount of information and answers. There's even a link to the East Texas Piney Woods Gardening site maintained by our own Keith Hansen, Smith County Horticulturist.

Between the Aggie site and our own East Texas site, you have a good chance of finding the answer to your question.

And even better, the site is available twenty-four hours per day.
