A: Propagation is from cuttings using a gritty, sandy, gravelly earth. Pot 6 inch cutting of Cereus monstrosus, 3 to 8 inches of Schlumbergera bridgesii buried 1 to 2 inches deep, 6 to 8 inch branch of Epiphyllum hybrids buried 2 inches deep, 3 to 5 inches stalk of Aporocactus flagelliformis buried 1 to 2 inches deep.
