Annual Tree & Plant Sale

The Master Gardeners are currently developing a Demonstration Garden to educate the community about plants and shrubs that grow well in the Anderson County area.  They are preparing plots with a variety of hardy plants and shrubs in front of the Federal Building where the Anderson County Extension Agency is located.  Natural mulch, such as leaves and pine straw, is being used to retain moisture and retard weeds.  Plants will be labeled and visitors may come and see different varieties that will survive and thrive in the area.
